What the AI looks for in Commercial Carpet Steamer Accessories

Hose diameter and cuff fit: Match the vacuum hose inner diameter and cuff to the machine's inlet and wand (1.5 inch is the most common size on portable extractors). A mismatched cuff leaks vacuum, which reduces water recovery and leaves carpets wet.
Solution line quick-disconnect: The male or female quick-connect on the solution hose must match the type and size on the machine and the tool. Quick-disconnects are not universal across brands, and a wrong fitting will not seal or will not fit at all.
Pressure and temperature rating: The hose and tool must be rated at or above the machine's pump pressure, and for heat if the machine has an inline heater. Under-rated solution lines burst or soften with heated solution.
Tool type for the surface: Use a floor wand for open carpet, a narrow stair tool for steps and edges, and a clear-view upholstery tool for fabric. Using a floor wand on upholstery overwets the fabric and can cause browning or shrinkage.
Clear-view heads: Prefer clear plastic tool heads where they are available. Seeing the recovered water lets the operator judge soil level and how many passes are needed.

Mytee: Wide range of OEM wands, hoses and upholstery tools for its own portable extractors.
Sanitaire: Commercial vacuum and extractor parts built for Electrolux Professional machines.
Clarke: OEM hoses and tools for Clarke extractors, the safest fit for that brand.
Bissell BigGreen Commercial: Accessories made for its own commercial extractors.

Generic hoses that do not state the inner diameter or cuff size
Upholstery tools without a solution trigger valve, which drip and overwet the fabric
Consumer spot-cleaner attachments sold as commercial extractor tools

Often you can if the vacuum cuff diameter and the solution quick-disconnect both match. Check both before buying.
