Best Xbox 360 Game Music Keyboards AI pick
Chosen by an AI model from its trained knowledge, with its reasoning.
AI pick (line): Mad Catz Rock Band 3 Wireless Keyboard
It is the keyboard built for Rock Band 3's keys and pro keys modes, and it also has a MIDI out.
Not for: Anyone not playing Rock Band 3 or a PC rhythm game that supports it.
What the AI looks for in Xbox 360 Game Music Keyboards
- Game support
- Keys parts exist only in Rock Band 3 and later on the 360. Older Rock Band and Guitar Hero games ignore the keyboard.
- Key response
- Test that all 25 keys register on a used unit. Pro keys charts use the full range, so a dead key blocks songs.
- Strap and stand
- A shoulder strap or a stand is needed for comfortable play. The keytar-style body is awkward to hold on your lap.
Brands that matter
- Mad Catz: Made the Rock Band 3 keyboard.
What to avoid
- General MIDI keyboards expecting them to connect directly to a 360
